It is a small fish-village built in a cove in the northeast side of Naxos. It is found 48 km from Chora (town). In the village's entrance, Kastraki is located a giant half-made Kouros of Apollo.It's the best organized beach of Naxos due to its natural beauty and archaeological sites it has, such as Kouros and the ancient marble quarries. In Apollona you will find a great beach ideal for swimming and water sports. It combines golden sand and fine pebbles. Near the beach are a lot of seashore taverns to taste the local specialties after your bath or your tour around the place.
