Fallika village is in the southwestern part of Chora, 6km from the center. It is a small graphic village, worth to visit, as here you will see the oldest monastery in the island. It is the monastery of Panahrantos, built in the 9th century by the byzantine emperor Nikiforos Fokas. It is built in the banks of mountain Gerakones and has a glorious view. The monastery is fortificated and has important ecclesiastic heirlooms.
