Filoti is the biggest village in Naxos and distinguishes for its natural beauty. It is built in an amphiteatrical way on the hills of mountain Za, the tallest in Cyclades (1004m), in which mythology says Zeus grew up. It has big tourist development because of the monuments and nightlife. It has a lot of taverns, cafes, bars and a market. The church of Panagia Filiotissa has special interest because of the temple made of marble and the precious icons.
