The village of Mitikas has a population of about 900 persons and it is built at the inner most point of the homonymous gulf of the Ionic Sea. It is 85klm from Mesologi and it has 858 residents. Many people visit it in the summer. Worth visiting are the remains of the ancient city Alizia.
