On the road to Akrotiri, you will come across Stavros Beach, located 16 km from the city. Its sandy shore stretches in an almost circular shape and is sheltered by surrounding rocks. This is a famous beach, as scenes from the film Zorba the Greek were shot here. At one end, there is a small harbor where fishing boats are moored.
