Located 32 km southeast of the capital, in a lush green plain, lies Arkalohori. Here you can visit the cave which, according to findings, served as a place of worship. The significant archaeological discoveries date from 2500 B.C. to 1500 B.C. Another important attraction in the area is the Church of Archangel Michael, whose interior preserves frescoes from the 15th century.
