From Makrigialos, you can reach the small islet of Koufonisi by boat. It is located northwest of Cape Goudouras and is a true little paradise. Its dense vegetation and exceptionally beautiful landscapes impress every visitor. The islet is also a refuge for rare bird species. Beyond its natural wealth, Koufonisi has a rich history, as evidenced by the ancient stone theater on the islet, which could accommodate up to 1,000 people.
