In the southwest, 2 km from the center is the graphic village of Ornos. Its special characteristic is the small port where fishboats anchor. The beach of Ornos is located in the south part at a distance of 3,5 km from Mykonos town. A golden sand beach wih blue green water. The beach is well protected from the north wind. A daily boat service to other Mykonos beaches as well as excursions to the island of Delos are available from this bay which also provides a good anchorage for yachts.
