Episkopi is only 4km from Chora. In this region was built ancient Sikinos, Ions colony. You will see the remains of Pithio Apollo¢s temple dated from the 3rd BC. In the same spot was built the church of the Dormation built during the 5th century. In fact for its construction were used architectonic parts of the ancient temple.
