The small settlement of Panagia is located 1km east of Fri. During the last years it has evolved to a tourist resort as more and more hotels and complexes of rooms to let are built every year. Being very close to the capital makes it ideal for staying. You will see the small church of Panagia built in 1770 and old mansions of the island¢s captains, which unfortunately are abandoned today.
