Kremasti village is 12km southwest of the city. It is the head of Butterflies¢ municipal. It is a traditional village with rural feature, but tourist development since very close to it is the famous valley of Butterflies. Kremasti is one of the biggest in size villages in Rhodes. It is worth visiting the big festival for Panagia organized every year on the 15th of August, including cultural events and a handwork exhibition.
