Emporios or Nimporio is the second port of Symi. It is located in the west part of the island and it is a rapidly developing tourist resort. It has a small graphic settlement with a beautiful beach. You can take a boat to the small island Nimos, in Symi¢s north end with crystal clear waters. In Emporio you will see the "Twelve Caves". They are twelve byzantine domes used as sculpture and paint workshops. In this region you will find a few rooms to let.
