Plateia Ammos or Plateia Ammos or Platia Ammos is a seaside settlement of Kythira. Plateia Ammos is located in the northeastern part of the island, at an altitude of 10 meters and a distance of about 30 km. N. from Kythira (town). From the village you can see mainland Greece to the Peloponnese peninsula. It has a long sandy beach, many accommodation facilities, a port as well as cafes, restaurants.
