Lithakia village or Archontochori is located in the valley of Laganas¢ gulf, 11km from the town of Zakynthos. It is one of the richest agricultural villages, due to its fertile ground. Among the sites distinguishes the byzantine church of Faneromeni, built during the 14th century. It has remarkable icons and an impressive wooden gilded chancel screen. The region is at the state of tourist development and organization. There are hotels and rooms to let at present.
