Megas Limionas is located 7 kilometers south of the town of Chios, near the village of Thymiana, and is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Its deep blue sea, sandy shore, and fine pebbles make it perfect for relaxing sunbathing, a true invitation for summer holidays. The name dates back a long time, as the bay is sheltered from the north wind and was used for loading and unloading goods from the surrounding islands and Asia Minor.
