While touring in the settlement of Korissia, you will be impressed by a chimney of 45m. It belongs to the Emage factory that operated from 1927 to 1957. It was the only greek factory producing enamel wares and the biggest in Mediterranean sea. It played a leading role in the financial and social life of residents. There are efforts to operate part of it as a gallery. Its machines are already exhibited in the Friends’ Union of Emage Factory in public place.
