The International Film and Visual Arts Festival is a thematic film festival organized every year in Rhodes.
The 2005 Festival will be held from the 21st to the 26th of June in the rooms of the Municipal Theater, of the National Theater and in the cool cinema RODON, in the town of Rhodes.
The Festival program includes, as every year, short and long movies, documentary films, original audio-visual films from all over the world, dedications and other events.
The international Ecofilms awards 2005 and the prize money given to the nominees by three international committees are:
1st Long Movie prize: 7.000€
2nd Long Movie prize: 5.000€
1st Short Movie prize: 5.000€
2nd Short Movie prize: 3.000€
There is also going to be awarded the special prize MEDWET/RAMSAR for the best movie on water and aqualands: 4.000€ Last but not least 2 audience prizes by the Cinematic club of Rhodes.
