About one kilometer from Parikia, we encounter the ruins of the Early Christian Basilica of the Three Churches. This is a complex of buildings from different historical periods. Specifically, on the remains of a 5th-century Early Christian church, three other churches were founded in the 17th century.
For the construction of the original Early Christian church, marble from the ruins of ancient temples had already been reused. Thus, the findings cover all these historical periods.
